Well now...what to talk about today. It's been a few days since my last entry to the blog so I thought I might do post to live'en things up a bit around here.

First off, get a load of this abnormally massive beetle that was on my front gate. Apparently it is called a Hercules Beetle (Dynastes hercules) aka Rhinoceros Beetle and even sometimes in Spanish a Scarab Beetle. Whatever you want to call this thing...IT WAS HUGE!

Today was an adventurous day to say the least.

A few weeks ago we decided to go with some friends of ours from Canada, to visit the Nauyaca waterfalls (short distance from Dominical towards Perez Zeledon). After calling to find out the prices for all of us, I was surprised to find out that they had almost doubled the price of the horseback tours and when there was eight of us going...well let's just say it would have been an expensive day.

Over the past two days, Costa Rica has been shaken by a few moderately sized earthquakes.

Yesterday at 9:48 am, a magnitude 4.8 quake was felt throughout the country and was centered near Parrita area. That was a strong one where we are.  While it was shaking I didn't necessarily feel much through my feet (on main floor at the time) however my windows were really rattling for approximately 10-15 seconds.  That and the dogs freakin out.

Normally I don't really do the whole "review" thing, however this is something I feel strongly about sharing with my readers so here goes...

I recently had a good friend come from Canada to visit and he just so happened to bring me the new Canon 780is (amongst other things). The camera is available in an array of different colors but me being me, I chose the flashy red version. Something you don't see everyday in Costa Rica unlike silver or black.

Man o' man have I been busy that past couple weeks. Then to top it all off, I've decided to dive right in to another massive site production project that will be announced soon.

Keeping busy is necessary here in paradise.  Yes it's pretty amazing to live daily in this incredible place however it is still necessary to make a living and keep yourself busy. Life can't always be a holiday now can it? Or can it?
