Well today is my birthday and so far...it's been perfect. Nice and relaxing just the way I like 'em to be.
Rearranged my room today in the blazing heat and rewired the cable in my home (in the attic..ya...hottie) and now I sit down to write this blogpost.
Where do I start? Well I need to start by mentioning that this is my first post using my absolutely incredibly powerful new 27" iMac Quad Core. This thing is craziness all packaged in one of the sleekest examples of engineering ingenuity. But how this beast came to sit in my office is another story...and an interesting one at that.
Late February I was expecting some clients to arrive for the closing of the purchase of their home. Their arrival time was early in the morning on a weekday and I had to tackle the Cerro de la Muerte at night in the fog only to have to return in the same evening/morning. I ended up returning to Perez Zeledon around 5am!
Every high season since coming to Costa Rica has sparked visits from family and friends. Without fail, I can always count on someone from Canada visiting me at some point during the summer months.
These days it feels amazing to be Canadian.
Sunday, February 28,2010, two countries came together in what was easily the most important moment for Canadian sports, the most famous rivalry today, Canada vs. USA for the gold medal in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
Today's the day all Canadians have been waiting for in the 2010 Olympics. After losing a preliminary game to the USA, Canada is looking to redeem themselves by taking the gold they feel is rightfully theirs in tonights gold medal final....Canada vs. USA.
The puck drops @ 12:15 pm PST however I won't be watching it until tonight. Last night I had a massive surprise party thrown for me for my upcoming birthday and at the same time...I am sick as a dog and chalk full of antibiotics. Fun for Don!
